Wine Pairing Menu -- Burgundy France
To complement the $125 ten-course tasting menu, guests have the choice to be taken on a wine pairing journey through Burgundy.
While the food alone provides an amazing journey through Burgundy, the full picture comes into focus through our wine pairings. We take our focus on Burgundy even further by adding a deep selection of Burgundy to our wine list. As always, wines from around the world will be available by the bottle. We also invite you to bring in a few bottles from your own amazing collection of Burgundy. Wines from Burgundy will be waived our usual $50 corkage fee.
In 1936, the appellation d’origine controlée (AOC) was established for Burgundian wine, creating distinct classifications to guarantee the origin and quality of wine as well as cheeses and other agricultural products. The village pairing is a primer to the certified wines of the region, where every stretch of land is named and designated, providing authenticity to every pour.
The premier cru pairing heightens the village tasting with older vintages and rare bottlings. This selection of wine offers greater complexity to the main wine regions of Burgundy - Cote de Auxerre, Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, Cote Chalonnaise, Maconnais, and Beaujolais. The pairing accentuates the very reasons wine enthusiasts are beguiled by Burgundy.
The grand cru pairing is a rare opportunity to taste the unequivocally iconic bottles of Burgundy. Chosen with skill and care, the wines poured for this pairing are rare and difficult to come by, sourced by the wine team with their special access to the vintners in this birthplace of terroir, where winemaking dates back to the first century.Reservations
